Linear motion components are used wherever something needs to slide smoothly along a straight path: CNC routers, laser cutters, 3D printers, pick-and-place machines, automation stages, even sliding doors. The two main building blocks are a linear guide (or linear bearing + shaft) for the sliding, and a ball screw (or lead screw) for driving.
For heavier loads and higher precision — linear guide rail + ball screw (HGR25 + SFU1605 / SFU2005 is a common combination on CNC routers and Z-axis lifts).
For light loads and cost-sensitive projects — LM linear bearings on shaft + TR-series lead screw (typical on hobby 3D printers and DIY machines).
For medium precision automation — HGR20 / HGR25 rail + SFU1204 ball screw gives a good balance between price and repeatability.
HGR is the lower-cost rectangular flange block; HGH is the same width with a slightly different mounting hole pattern. Most retrofit jobs use HGR.
C7 (standard CNC), C5 (precision CNC, machining centres), C10 (light duty, cost-driven). Tell us your machine and we’ll recommend.
Yes — we cut and chamfer the ends to your specified length (typically 200–3000 mm). Minimum order: 4 pieces.
Standard block preload is light preload (ZC0) for most CNC and automation. Heavy preload available on request.
Yes — we accept sample pieces for testing before bulk orders. Sample fee refundable on confirmed bulk order.
